As we settle into the rhythm of a new year, it’s time to get excited about the 2025 soccer season! We’re ready to bring back the energy, teamwork, and thrilling moments on the pitch that we’ve all been waiting for.

After a successful introduction last season, we’re excited to continue using the Stack Team App as our go-to tool for managing soccer life. With features for schedules, updates, team chats, and sharing those big moments, it’s the perfect way to stay connected and organized. Signing up is easy! Head over to our registration page, and you’ll be ready for a season packed with excitement, growth, and plenty of soccer.

Ticket to Play Vouchers

If you’re eligible to use a Ticket to Play voucher, it can be applied during the registration process. However, please note that Football Tasmania is still in the process of linking the registration system to Ticket to Play, so vouchers will not be claimable until early February.

You can begin the registration process and leave it in draft form at the Ticket to Play stage until the process is complete. We’ll send out a notification once vouchers can be submitted.

Sibling Discount Vouchers

To help ease the financial load for families with multiple players, we’re offering Sibling Discount Vouchers. Families registering more than one child will receive discounts on their fees, making it easier for everyone to get involved. To request a sibling discount voucher, please email southernraiders@gmail.com .

Trojan Academy Expands!

We’re thrilled to announce that the Trojan Academy program is expanding in 2025! The program will now feature four teams, including an all-girls team for the first time. This expansion creates more opportunities for players in the under 11,1 2 and 14 age groups to access elite-level training and development while building skills in a supportive, inclusive environment.

We’re delighted to announce the launch of a Southern Raiders Senior Social Team for the 2025 season! This team is perfect for older players who want to stay active, have fun, and enjoy the social side of soccer without the pressure of a competitive league. A link to register will be available shortly but if interested please let us know.

Expanding into a senior program is an important milestone for the Southern Raiders, providing a pathway for our juniors to continue their soccer journey. Whether you’re returning to the game or trying it for the first time, we’d love to have you join us!

Our club thrives because of the incredible support from our community. We’re always looking for volunteers and coaches to help make the 2025 season a success.

This year we are delighted to welcome Naw Gurung and Anthony Foster as new additions to our coaching team. Both Naw and Anthony have a wealth of experience and will provide guidance to our Under 12 and Under 14 players.

Key Dates for 2025:

For all teams (other than the Academy) training will commence early March, with games starting early April. The club will also be holding its annual “Come and Try” day soon (date to be finalized). It’s a great opportunity for new and existing players to have a kick and reconnect with old friends.

Don’t let the ball roll too far – we’re eager to hit the ground running and make 2025 an unforgettable season.
