Football Tasmania is hosting a Game Leader Workshop this Sunday, March 22nd at Churchill Park, and we're encouraging Raiders families and players to get involved.
What is a Game Leader?
A Game Leader is the person who keeps MiniRoos and small-sided matches moving — helping with restarts, limiting stoppages, and making sure every player is having fun and learning. They're a vital part of junior football.
Who should come along?
The workshop is open to parents, club helpers, older teenagers, and — exciting news — Raiders players aged 11 and up are welcome to register too!
This workshop is also the first step on the pathway to becoming a qualified referee, so if you've got a young Raider who loves the game and wants to take it further, this is a great place to start.
What's covered?
The session is practical and hands-on, including the Game Leader role, MiniRoos formats, real game scenarios, fouls and restarts, and lots more.
