Welcome to the 2026 Southern Raiders Junior season!
This page has everything you need to know about registration, training, games, and what your child needs to get started.

Please read this page before contacting the club — most common questions are answered below.

Training
• Held at Prospect Park Sports Grounds
• One session per week
• Day & time set by the coach
• Training begins March 2026

Games
• All NTJSA matches are played at Churchill Park
• Games are on Friday evenings & Saturdays


Who can play
• Children turning 5 in 2026 and up 

Cost
• Registration fee: $250 (Plus a small payment surcharge charged by PlayFootball)
• Sibling discounts available
• Ticket to Play accepted

📝 REGISTRATION

How do I register my child?
All players must be registered online through PlayFootball.

Important information
• Parents/guardians will need to create or log in to a PlayFootball account
• Children are linked as family members under the parent account
• Registration should be completed as early as possible to assist with team formation
• Late registrations may be subject to availability

The PlayFootball registration system has been updated and improved for 2026, however we understand some families may still experience difficulties during the process.

Please note: the club is unable to resolve technical issues within the PlayFootball platform. For the fastest resolution, contact PlayFootball Support directly using the details below.

⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDER

Please ensure you allow enough time to complete your registration in one session, particularly if using:
• Ticket to Play vouchers
• Sibling discount codes

Having your voucher numbers and payment method ready before starting will help avoid issues.

💰 FEES, DISCOUNTS & CONCESSIONS

Registration cost

• The cost to register for the 2026 season is $250
• A nominal payment surcharge is applied by the PlayFootball platform at checkout

Sibling discounts

• A sibling discount is available for families registering more than one child
• Discount codes are not applied automatically

🎟️ Ticket to Play (Important – Please Read Carefully)

Eligible families may use Ticket to Play vouchers to help cover registration costs.

When registering with a Ticket to Play voucher
• You must have your voucher number ready
• You must also have a payment method ready to pay any remaining balance
• Registration, voucher entry, and payment must all be completed in one session

⚠️ Please note:
If you enter a Ticket to Play voucher and do not complete payment at the same time, the voucher may be marked as used and cannot be reversed or re-entered.
This is extremely important — please ensure you are ready to complete the entire registration process before starting.

👕 WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED?

For games
• Southern Raiders playing top (will be provided - please note jersey will need to be returned at completion of season)
• Blue shorts
• Red football socks
• Shin pads (mandatory)
• Football boots

For training
• Comfortable sports clothing
• Shin pads and football boots

Further information about club apparel will be provided closer to the season.

📍 TRAINING & MATCHES

Training
• Held at Prospect Park Sports Grounds
• One session per week
• Day and time determined by the coach
• Training commences in March 2026

Matches
• Played at Churchill Park
• Friday evenings and Saturdays
• Fixtures and game times published via DRIBL
• Weekly updates provided through TeamApp

🧒 TEAM ALLOCATIONS

When will I know my child’s team?
• Team allocations will begin in early March
• Families will be notified by email once teams are finalised
• While we do our best to accommodate requests, we are balancing many players and cannot guarantee all preferences

🛡️ CHILD SAFETY

Southern Raiders is committed to providing a safe, inclusive environment for all players.

• All coaches and officials meet safeguarding requirements
• Working With Children checks are mandatory

🙋 VOLUNTEERS – WE NEED YOU

Southern Raiders cannot field junior teams without volunteers.
Coaches and team managers play a vital role in creating a positive experience for our players.

How to register as a volunteer, coach or team manager

All volunteers must register through PlayFootball.

  1. Go to the PlayFootball registration platform
  2. Search for Southern Raiders Junior Soccer Club
  3. Select the appropriate registration type:
    • Volunteer
    • Coach/Team Manager
    • Committee
  4. Follow the prompts to complete your registration

Registering through PlayFootball helps the club manage teams, accreditation and safeguarding requirements efficiently.

Important notes for volunteers

• Coaches and team managers must meet safeguarding requirements
• Working With Children checks are required where applicable
• Support and guidance are provided — no prior experience is necessary

📣 STAYING IN TOUCH (IMPORTANT)

TeamApp is our primary communication tool.
All match updates, training changes, cancellations and announcements are sent via the Southern Raiders TeamApp.

How to get set up on TeamApp

  1. Download the TeamApp app from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Create a free TeamApp account (or log in if you already have one)
  3. Search for Southern Raiders Junior Soccer Club
  4. Register within the app and follow the prompts
  5. Ensure notifications are turned on for the app

⚠️ Please note:
Important information is sent via TeamApp. If notifications are turned off, you may miss time-critical updates such as wet weather cancellations or ground changes.

Other communication

• Email is used for key club-wide information
• Social media is used for general updates and reminders

TeamApp should always be your first point of reference during the season.
